DBasia.news – Carlo Ancelotti, Real Madrid manager, has interesting plans for Eden Hazard at the club, after they lacked a back-up that is at least as close to Karim Benzema’s quality.
In Los Blancos’ first two games of pre-season, against Barcelona or Club America, Hazard played as a striker, and Ancelotti admits the Belgian star just needs to be given time to adapt to his new position.
“We need to give Hazard playing time as he is a great player and we need him. He has improved compared to the first game [against Barca],” Ancelotti said after the game against Club America.
Granted, Madrid still have Mariano Diaz and Borja Mayoral, but the club is more interested in selling the two players, with the second name rumored to have been close to Getafe.
Meanwhile, Mariano has been unable to impress Ancelotti and has been pushed to find a new club this summer.
Some time ago, Ancelotti also revealed that the club will not be looking for new players, even though they have also lost Luka Jovic who left for Fiorentina.
However, recently, Los Blancos are said to have been planning to sign a new striker as Benzema’s back-up, with rumors circulating that they want the new player to guarantee 12 more goals despite being dropped from the bench.
Striker, Edin Dzeko has been linked with Los Blancos in recent times, but Marca report that Madrid are looking to find a younger player.
