Carlo Ancelotti praises and gives advice to Vinicius

DBasia.news – Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti praised the performance of Vinicius Jr. who scored one goal as Real Madrid defeated Alaves in the first week of LaLiga. Ancelotti also gave advice to the player.

Vinicius was able to score when Los Blancos defeated Alaves 4-1 in the opening match of La Liga. After coming on for Eden Hazard in the 66th minute, Vinicius immediately integrated into the team and provided various threats to Alaves’ defense.

But he had to wait until the end of the match, precisely in the 90+2 minute, before the goal in his name was created.

David Alaba sent in a perfect cross from the left and Vinicius was able to thread his head past goalkeeper Fernando Pacheco. The Brazilian forward then celebrated by dancing and smiling.

The 21-year-old player was previously only able to score three goals in 35 LaLiga appearances last season. Ancelotti hopes the player is able to provide more for Real Madrid’s attack.

Ancelotti admitted after the game that he was pleased with Vinicius’ performance while on the pitch and he also had a record for the player.

“I think Vinicius has a lot of quality in one-on-ones,” said Ancelotti.

“I have told him that to score goals he has to do one or two touches. It is difficult to score goals with four or five touches. He is a very young player, he will improve.”

Vinicius fired two shots against Alaves and both headed towards goal. Real Madrid hopes the time Vinicius has spent training at Valdebebas will pay off.
