DBasia.news –  Carlo Ancelotti has an interesting assessment about Napoli which he sees similar to his team in the past, AC Milan. The similarity, according to Ancelotti, is not much strengthened by star players in the squad.

Carlo Ancelotti is trying to restore the glory of Napoli while breaking the dominance of Juventus in Serie A. At present, Lorenzo Insigne and his mates are 13 points behind the Bianconeri.

Ancelotii is optimistic that Napoli can win the Serie A title. The Italian coach remembers bringing AC Milan to the best in Serie A.

“Napoli can and must be able to compete with Juventus. If not, I will not come here. Sooner or later we will win and believe in that,” Ancelotti said as quoted by Football Italia.

“Ancelottismo? There is no such thing. I’m interested in having a team that doesn’t have a single identity, but can do it all,” he explained.

“You have to build the characteristics of the players. You can’t make slushies without ice. Football can be played in many ways.”

Ancelotti feels that Napoli has many similarities with AC Milan. Moreover, the two clubs are owned by two figures with the same type.

“Palyers here are less formed than I have at Real Madrid, Bayern Munchen and Chelsea. So I can have more of their impact,” said Ancelotti.

“It reminds me of the experience at AC Milan, plus De Laurentiis is similar to Berlusconi. He runs the club like a big family and I am a member of his family.”

Carlo Ancelotti became the architect of AC Milan from 2001 to 2009. In that period, the 59-year-old coach took Il Diavolo Rosso twice to succeed in the Champions League.
