Cesc Fabregas

DBasia.news – So far, Chelsea are busy preserving their prominent players from leaving. Four players that have signed the contract renewal are N’Golo Kante, Pedro Rodriguez, and Marcos Alonso. Recently, Cezar Azpilicueta got the renewal with a significant salary upgrade.

But on the other hand, there’s a player that hasn’t got the contract renewal, one of them is Cesc Fabregas. The speculation about his future at Stamford Bridge is trending after Maurizio Sarri seldom chooses him as the main choice and often starts the match from the bench.

Won’t think about the speculation, Fabregas raised his voice and stated that it’s too early to talk about his future with Roman Abramovich club.

“I know what my role is. Unfortunately, it’s not the one I want. I’m keeping it professional as usual,” Fabregas said cited by Evening Standard.

“I’m always trying to do my best, in the conditions, playing with the youngsters, playing with the first team, even though this year I still haven’t played with the full, full first team one game. But, I’m trying to do what I can. It’s a difficult situation for me, obviously. We’ll see what happens. It’s too early to talk about this now,” he added.

As an additional information, the contract of a 31-year-old player at Stamford Bridge would end this season, and he is in contact with another club since January.

However, the chance of former Barcelona and Arsenal player is wide open, considering Maurizio Sarri confirmed that he would ask the club to renew his contract.

Joining Chelsea in 2014, the player who was born at Arenys de Mar, Spain, has played in 159 caps with 22 goals and 57 assists of all competition.
