Chelsea and Inter Milan are ready to complete Romelu Lukaku’s transfers

DBasia.news – Chelsea and Inter Milan are reportedly close to reaching an agreement over the transfer of Romelu Lukaku. The two teams are discussing the final details to finalize negotiations.

Initially, despite experiencing financial problems, Inter Milan never intended to sell Romelu Lukaku. In fact, Inter CEO, Giuseppe Marotta, called Lukaku an untouchable player in the transfer market.

However, Chelsea was unphased. With a financial strength that is above average, the Blues are confident to repatriate their former player.

Chelsea also made the first offer worth 100 million euros plus Marcos Alonso. However, Inter are not interested in the proposal.

The Blues did not give up. Chelsea returned by providing a second offer worth 115 million euros or around Rp. 1.94 trillion without involving players.

The offer also made Inter interested. According to transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, the deal between Inter Milan and Chelsea is almost complete. The two teams are discussing the final details with Lukaku’s agent, Federico Pastorello.

Inter’s decision to release the striker could not be separated from Lukaku’s desire to leave. In fact, Lukaku confirmed to Inter Milan that he did not want to appear in the test match against Parma as he wanted to speed up the transfer process. Reportedly, Lukaku agreed to a salary of 12 million euros per season proposed by Chelsea.

Chelsea also want to immediately close the transfer of Romelu Lukaku. After that, Chelsea will focus on signing Sevilla defender Jules Kunde.

Inter Milan Prepares a Substitute

Meanwhile, Inter Milan have started looking for a replacement for Romelu Lukaku. Based on the news in Italy, La Beneamata will bring Atalanta striker Duvan Zapata.

In addition, Inter are also interested in getting Edin Dzeko from AS Roma. However, Inter are only willing if Roma release the striker for free. Inter will also use the proceeds from the sale of Lukaku to land PSV Eindhoven full-back Denzel Dumfries.
