DBasia.news – Chelsea’s management has not dared to speculate who the new players will be recruited in the summer transfer market. The Blues are still awaiting FIFA’s appeal decision regarding the transfer ban.
Chelsea was sentenced by FIFA for being found guilty in 29 cases related to the transfer of players under the age of 18. The Blues were punished by FIFA with banning new players in two transfer windows, summer 2019 and winter 2020.
In addition, Chelsea was also fined Rp. 8.4 billion. But in early March, Chelsea appealed against the decision.
Chelsea’s move was then broken by the FIFA appeal commission on 9 March 2019. The FIFA appeal commission refused to appeal Chelsea about the freezing of transfers in two transfer windows.
Chelsea’s side then considered submitting the case to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). The FIFA appeals commission has not yet decided whether the sentence will temporarily not apply if the appeal process takes place in the CAS.
