Chelsea Appeals to FIFA Regarding Prohibition on Transfer of Players

Chelsea

DBasia.news –  Chelsea’s transfer strategy has changed completely since FIFA imposed a transfer ban for two periods due to the transfer of underage players.

Maurizio Sarri’s team received sanctions from FIFA after being considered violating regulations related to the recruitment of foreign players under the age of 18 with a total of 29 players who were considered to violate these regulations from 92 players who had received an examination from the world soccer association.

As reported by the BBC, Chelsea are now confirmed to have appealed against the sanctions they received and FIFA has confirmed this. This appeal can make them get the opportunity to recruit players in the 2019 summer transfer market.

This ban on transfers has been received by three Spanish giants, namely Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, and Real Madrid, also for the same reason related to the recruitment of foreign players under the age of 18.
