Chicharito is willing to not get paid for Manchester United

DBasia.news – Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez said he would happily return to England if he received a call from Manchester United.

In fact, the 34-year-old player is willing not to be paid if the Red Devils need him.

United currently do need a striker, after they lost Edinson Cavani this summer. And the Red Devils now only have Cristiano Ronaldo and Anthony Martial, and that too the Frenchman is also sidelined through injury.

A number of names have been linked with United, ranging from Darwin Nunez (who eventually left for Liverpool), Benjamin Sesko (who preferred a move to RB Leipzig) to most recently Marko Arnautovic, who ultimately came under fire from the Manchunians.

And Chicharito has admitted that he is willing to help the Red Devils if needed.

“If you were my age and United came, I would say ‘Yes, I will play for free’,” Chicharito told a news conference quoted by Marca.

“Of course I would do that, but I also want to respect my club LA Galaxy.”

“My thoughts and beliefs are about winning the championship with the LA Galaxy.”

The Mexico international player started his European career with Man United in 2010 when he was signed from Mexican side Chivas Guadalajara.

Chicharito defended the Red Devils for five years, but in his last season he was loaned to Real Madrid.

During his time at Old Trafford, Chicharito recorded 59 goals and 20 assists in 157 games. He also presented three titles for United, namely two Premier League trophies and a Community Shield.
