DBasia.news – Mexican football star Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez has played for Manchester United and Real Madrid. Chicharito revealed the difference in playing between the two clubs, that he claimed to be more calm playing at MU.

During the four seasons playing with the ‘Red Devils’, Chicharito made 59 goals and 20 assists in more than 150 appearances. The 31-year-old poacher helped Manchester United win two Premier League titles in 2010/11 and 2012/13.

Chicharito was then loaned out to Madrid in the summer of 2014/15. However, the player who started his career at Chivas Guadalajara only made nine goals in 33 appearances, before being sold by MU to Bayer Leverkusen.

Currently, Chicharito plays in MLS with LA Galaxy. According to Chicharito, English and Spanish football culture has big differences.

“I think the culture,” Chicharito said as quoted by M.E.N. “It’s just a picture, not something I want to reduce or exaggerate from any club. It’s just a picture, you know how life in England is a little calm, a little closer, a little like that.”

“In Spain and Portugal it’s more the Latino way. The culture is more open. At United, I’ve never felt outside as big as inside. But you don’t have a lot of fans outside, not a lot of press, you don’t leak stories, you can walk a lot in Manchester, they respect you more.”

“In Spain they respect you, but they are more like my country, they want a lot of things from you, they want to take pictures, they want to hold you,” Chicharito added.
