Christian Eriksen is Frustrated at Inter Milan

DBasia.news – Attacking midfielder, Christian Eriksen is getting frustrated at Inter Milan. The Danish player was upset as coach Antonio Conte more often placed him on the bench.
Eriksen came to Inter from Tottenham Hotspur in January 2020. In the remainder of the 2019-2020 season Eriksen has only started eight times in 17 Serie A matches, while this season he has only played 73 minutes, in total Eriksen has played 11 games in all competitions last season.
The situation was not ideal for the Danish national team player. Eriksen has sent a message to his coach Antonio Conte. The former Ajax Amsterdam player did not want to sit on the bench for the whole season.
“I don’t want to sit on the bench for the whole season. I hope this is not the intention of the coach or the club,” said Eriksen conveying his hopes as quoted from Goal.
“There will be a lot of games in a short time, and now we also have three national team games in a few days. The Champions League starts when we return to our respective clubs, there will be a lot of games that we will play.”
“I’m sure I’ll probably have my time. So it really depends on the people outside and I myself hope this moment will come, “he stated.
“I found myself at a point where maybe I had never been at a club before. I got off to a great start after arriving at Inter in January and trying to show it, then we stopped playing because of the coronavirus and the results were unstable. “
“The thoughts and expectations that people have of me as a player needs to be decisive in every game, and that’s not happening. That’s why people on the outside see me differently now.”
“Obviously you get impatient when you have experience and have tried different things, in the end it’s always not nice to sit on the bench,” explained Eriksen.
The competition in Inter’s midfield is indeed quite tight. Eriksen is still adapting to the culture of Italian football, while his competitors already understand him, such as Stefano Sensi, Nicolo Barella, Matias Vecino, Marcelo Brozovic, to Arturo Vidal’s new signing.
