Abou Diaby

DBasia.news –  The former Arsenal player, Abou Diaby, finally decided to retire from the world of football. This decision was taken because of an injury that continued to overtake him.

Diaby is currently 32 years old, deciding to hang up. He last strengthened the French giant Marseille in 2015. But the midfielder hasn’t played since 2017.

The 32-year-old has felt injury in all parts of his body, starting from the left foot, right foot, back, hands, to the head. In total, he has suffered 41 injuries since 2006.

Even for nine years in strengthening Arsenal, the number of matches he passed was far more than the minutes he played in the field. Diaby only packed 180 matches, compared to the 250 appearances he passed.

The Frenchman also had to pull over 1937 days while strengthening the Gunners because of the injury he suffered every season. Even so, the player who left the club from North London in 2015 then presented the Community Shield title.

While at his last club, Marseille, Diaby players only recorded six matches.
