Corona Virus Affected Paris Saint-Germain

DBasia.news –  Corona virus has again disrupted European soccer’s schedule. This time the match schedule between Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) against Strasbourg has to be postponed. The postponement must be done because the local government does not give permission for the match to be held.

The decision to postpone the PSG vs Strasbourg match was made suddenly by the local government. Before finally being postponed, the two teams had a chance to hold a press conference session and announce the names of the players who entered the squad for the match later.

“Following orders from the Bas-Rhin government regarding the spread of the corona virus, the match between RC Strasbourg and Paris Saint-Germain which was originally scheduled for Saturday (07/03) has been postponed,” wrote a complete statement of Les Parisien.

“Les Parisiens who have come to the Alsace region to play the 28th match will continue to play this match on an undetermined date.”

The match between Strasbourg vs PSG is the first French League match to be postponed due to the corona virus that is epidemic in Europe. Previously, local authorities had taken several steps to minimize the spread of the Coorna virus.

Among them is, forbidding players and referees to shake hands before the match. Not only that, the Ligue 1 also suggested to the players not to hold the mascots anymore.

Previously, the Italian League had already been a ‘victim’ to the corona virus. The Italian League operator decided to hold all matches without spectators until the date (03/04).
