DBasia.news – Three goals from Philipe Coutinho led Bayern Munich to sink Werder Bremen 6-1 at the Allianz Arena.
Coutinho’s first goal was scored in the 45th minute to equalize Bremen’s goals that was left behind recorded by Milot Rashica. The other two goals were scored in the 63rd and 78th minutes.
In addition to Coutinho’s hat-trick, Munchen celebrated a goal through Robert Lewandowski’s donation in the 45th + 4th minute and 72nd and a Thomas Muller goal in the 75th minute.
These three points has made the Bavarian move up three places to fourth on 27 points, while Bremen failed to distance themselves from the relegation zone.
Robert Lewandowski almost opened the scoring in the 15th minute, unfortunately his header was pushed over by goalkeeper, Jiri Pavlenka.
The host was surprised by Milot Rashica’s goal. The Bremen bomber’s acceleration made it past the guard of Jerome Boateng before releasing a kick that could not be saved by Manuel Neuer.
But when entering the end of the first half, Munchen reversed the position to 2-1 through goals from Philipe Coutinho and Robert Lewandowski.
In the second half, The Bavarian controlled the game. The former Liverpool midfielder scored his second goal in the 63rd minute utilizing David Alaba’s breakthrough bait.
After the goal, Munich were increasingly dominant. In a span of six minutes they netted three additional goals.
It began with Lewandowski’s strike in the 72nd minute, followed by Muller who used Coutinho’s breakthrough bait on the 75th minute. Coutinho closed the lead to 6-1 in the 78th minute.
