DBasia.news – The relationship between Cristiano Ronaldo and Erik ten Hag is tarnished. The Manchester United striker is FURIOUS with their new manager.

Ronaldo finally appeared for the first time for the Red Devils since last season in a test match versus Rayo Vallecano, Sunday (31/7), after missing most of Man United’s pre-season agenda.

However, the 37-year-old player threw a tantrum by withdrawing before the match ended, last Wednesday (3/8), Ten Hag said that his action was “unacceptable”.

“I told them that this is unacceptable. That we are a team, a squad. And you have to stay until the end,” the Dutch manager told Viaplay.

According to the Daily Star, Ronaldo was “furious” as Ten Hag was criticized in public, and is now determined to leave Manchester United.

The Portugal captain only returned from Juventus last year, but Ronaldo has already informed United of his desire to leave ashe wants to play in the Champions League.

So far there have been no offers from other big clubs, but frictions between Ronaldo and Ten Hag have heated things up, and the former Real Madrid striker will renew his desire to leave.

Ronaldo’s action not only drew criticism from internal parties. Former Red Devils captain Gary Neville also regretted it, and he urged the club to sell him.

“As a former Manchester United captain, it’s hard to see this situation, imagining now that there are star players in the changing room acting up,” said Neville.

“It’s happened in the last few years, [Paul] Pogba’s agent for example, it’s not Pogba himself, but his agent is always acting up.”

“There can’t be any superstar players. So when in the past Sir Alex Ferguson sent players out, it was because they needed to be kicked out.”
