DBasia.news – The new Manchester United striker, Cristiano Ronaldo, reportedly banned his mother, Maria Dolores, from seeing his second debut with the Red Devils. This was revealed by the senior British presenter, Piers Morgan.
Cristiano Ronaldo has a great chance of making his second Manchester United debut in the match against Newcastle United this weekend, at Old Trafford. Ronaldo received permission to go home early from the Portugal national team to complete the quarantine period.
Now, the 36-year-old striker is also preparing to appear in front of around 75,000 Manchester United supporters who would pack Old Trafford. However, among these supporters, Ronaldo’s mother would not be present.
“Now, Cristiano Ronaldo’s mother is not allowed to watch the big games. She says: ‘Listen, I don’t have a father anymore. So I don’t want to lose my mother either. Therefore, she won’t be watching the quarter-finals, semi-finals or finals. ” Morgan said in an interview with DailyMail.
Ronaldo does give extra attention to his mother. He asked someone to stay with his mother and to always accompany her, even if it was just for a walk around the house.
Ronaldo’s concern is inseparable from the incident where his mother fainted twice in the stadium.
“Ronaldo was getting really nervous. I don’t understand why. He wouldn’t let me watch the big game,” Morgan said.
Currently, Ronaldo’s main focus is to take care of his mother. Moreover, his father, Jose Dinis, has passed away after suffering from liver failure due to alcohol in 2005.
“My mother is the support of the family. What I have now is because she always provides support,” stated Ronaldo.
“She worked hard for her children and especially for me because he was the youngest. She suffered to give me so many opportunities.”
