Cristiano Ronaldo is not Bayern Munich’s Target

DBasia.news – Robert Lewandowski has officially left Bayern Munich. But Bayern Munich have refused Cristiano Ronaldo as a replacement for Robert Lewandoski at this time.

Lewandowski’s transfer saga has ended. Munich agreed to sell him to Barcelona for around 50 million euros.

Lewandowski’s departure was confirmed directly by Munich CEO Oliver Kahn. The player has also said goodbye to his teammates.

“We have reached an agreement with Barcelona for Robert Lewandowski. Negotiations have been completed but only a verbal agreement, while the contract is still pending,” said Oliver Kahn.

Lewandowski’s departure certainly left a sizeable hole in Munich’s front line. The Polish national player is a pedestal to score goals.

Six Bundesliga top scorer titles and two European golden boots are enough to describe Lewandowski’s ferocity in the goal mouth. Munich can not carelessly find a replacement.

Cristiano Ronaldo then emerged as one of the commensurate replacements for Lewandowski. CR7 is trying to leave Manchester United to continue playing in the Champions League.

Jorge Mendes as Ronaldo’s agent has reportedly offered his client to a number of clubs. Munich are one of them.

But Munich didn’t  seem interested in making Ronaldo as Lewandowski’s replacement. The German giant dismissed the opportunity to bring the megastar to the Allianz Arena.

“I have great respect for Cristiano Ronaldo because of his success and career. But again, signing him was not in our plans,” Bayern director Hasan Salihamidzic told Sport1.

Munich refused the presence of Ronaldo for a reason. Besides being older than Lewandowski, the salary of the former Real Madrid player is also far above the maximum limit applied by the Bundesliga rulers.
