DBasia.news – Portuguese megastar, Cristiano Ronaldo, continues to flap his wings from a field he has been practicing for years (football). Recently, Ronaldo launched an animated and comic series titled Striker Force 7.
Through the @Cristiano Twitter account, Ronaldo introduces a 0.57-second animated trailer and shows himself as a super hero character who relies on hard kicks with the ball to defeat his opponents.
“In the same way football connects cultures and people in the world, I believe great animated characters and heroes can do the same,” said Cristiano Ronaldo, quoted from Football-Italy.
“That’s why I am very happy to be able to unite the passion of football and super heroes through this project and share with fans,” the 34-year-old continued.
Like a super hero that transforms and wears special clothes when defeating his enemies, Ronaldo does so when he touches his special watch and fights aliens who invades the earth.
The comic caricatures and the use of colors chosen for Ronaldo are closer to US comics than manga or Japanesse comics. Ronaldo, in the Striker Force 7, continues to undergo the profession as a footballer with additional super powers.
In fact, currently, Ronaldo is trying to win the status of the Serie A top scorer (capocannoniere). The former Real Madrid superstar has scored 21 goals in Serie A, along with Duvan Zapata (Atalanta) and Krzysztof Piatek (AC Milan), and two goals adrift from the temporary top, Fabio Quagliarella (Sampdoria).
