Criticized by Sergio Ramos, Here Is Antonio Conte’s Response

Antonio Conte

DBasia.news – Santiago Solari’s position as Real Madrid interim coach is not secured yet. Madrid are still looking for another coach.

One of the coaches approached by Madrid is Antonio Conte. The Italian coach was no longer coaching since sacked by Chelsea this season and replaced by Maurizio Sarri. But eventually, Conte’s rumor coming to Santiago Bernabeu slowly disappears.

Moreover, the 49-year-old coach recently said that he will back to the coaching career on June 2019, not in the near future.

“Real Madrid? As I see it, it is better to wait until the end of the season than to take a train running now,” Conte said.

“I want to wait for June and start again with a new project. In three months I could change my mind and deny everything, but I’ve always thought of it this way,” he continued.

Furthermore, Conte also speaks up – after the silence – about the comment from Madrid captain Sergio Ramos, who said Madrid must recruit the coach respected by the players and able to give the victory from one match to the next.

Conte has a right answer to respond that.

“Ramos’ words? When a coach arrives at a team he must bring education and respect, something that he would expect from the players too. When this goes wrong, the problems begin,” Conte said reported by Marca.

“We Italian coaches have a great culture of work and when you join a new club you can’t change everything, you must try and do it very gradually.

“Each coach must be a good tailor and adapt their beliefs to the human material that they have at their disposal,” Conte, who once coached Juventus and Italy national team, concluded.
