Cynical comments by Jose Mourinho Concerning Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

Jose Mourinho dan Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

DBasia.news –  Jose Mourinho lost his job as manager of Manchester United in December 2018. Mourinho was sacked after inconsistency in team play and a 1-3 defeat against Liverpool at Anfield.

Not wanting to wait long, United then chose to make Ole Gunnar Solskjaer an interim manager. Initially many were surprised by the decisions taken by club management, but the 45-year-old man silenced all doubts and continued to offer victory. Of the 16 matches, Romelu Lukaku and his friends have only lost one time.

Not only did he improve his team’s performance, but Solskjaer’s cold hands also managed to make some players who were having trouble securing a place in the starting XI again showing maximum potential, say Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial, Jesse Lingard and of course, Paul Pogba.

The slick performance that Solskjaer showed was able to make the public fascinated, not even a few who supported if the Norwegian man would soon be appointed as permanent manager. But it seems this does not apply to Jose Mourinho.

“Is Fulham able to get a better manager than Claudio Ranieri? Not at all. Then, can you compare the experience gained by Ranieri and Parker – who incidentally will only be a club for the first time in his career? No,” Mourinho said as reported by the Manchester Evening News.

“Sometimes, in the world of football, you can see several other examples. My former club (Manchester United who appointed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as an interim). Yes, there are indeed many positive things. But I’m not sure if the changes at Old Trafford will it last long and for a long period of time,” he added.

Apart from Mourinho’s uncertainty in Solskjaer’s performance, there have been many changes that were successfully shown by the man who defended the Red Devils in 1996 to 2007. United are no longer experiencing inconsistencies and are now competing to end the season in the top four.
