DBasia.news – Former Barcelona defender Dani Alves also opened his statement regarding the condition of Lionel Messi on his team. Alves believes Messi has frustration and lack of support to lead Barca.

The Argentine football superstar had just expressed his anger after the defeat of Barca 1-2 at the hands of the cemented team, Osasuna, yesterday. At the same time, Barcelona must give up the title of LaLiga champions flying into the hands of its rivals, Real Madrid after crushing Villarreal 2-1.

In the interview after the match, Messi said that Barcelona were too weak. With this performance, Messi is not even sure that Barca will be able to pass Napoli when the two teams meet in the second leg of the Champions League last 16 in August.

Dani Alves has shared a dressing room with Messi for eight seasons by winning a total of 23 titles. The Brazilian right-back has been part of the Barcelona squad that has wiped out six trophies throughout 2009.

“Leo is a natural winner. He doesn’t like to lose. When his team loses naturally when he gets angry, he always wants to win. Like me. We always want to win,” Alves told Radio Catalunya, as quoted by SPORT.

“He has been doing what he is doing now for a long time. That is why he says what works and what doesn’t work because he knows. He has spent years at Barca, experiencing many things, and he knows exactly what his team needs to win,” continued the player who is now strengthening Sao Paulo.

“He saw, what I felt, and that was a lack of help. I will always say that Messi is the main dish and we used to be perfect ingredients for a dish. Now I feel that he is doing everything alone, constantly, and we must remember that he is only a human being.”

Throughout this season, the six Ballon d’Or winners lead the list of top scorers and assists in his club. A total of 28 goals and 25 assists were created by Messi in 41 appearances, far ahead of Luis Suarez who made 18 gl and 12 assists in 33 appearances. Moreover, Antoine Griezmann who only packed 15 goals and four assists in 46 matches.
