DBasia.news – Claudio Ranieri, a former AS Roma manager, rated Daniele De Rossi would be a great manager if he managed a club.
Ranieri said, De Rossi would be able to take some knowledge as a coach from his father, Alberto. Currently Alberto De Rossi still serves as one of the coaches in the AS Roma youth team.
“During his active playing, Daniele de Rossi has assumed the role of a coach on the field,” Ranieri said as quoted by Italian Football.
“His father will also give very good advice. Because he is a professional figure who is very familiar with how to become a great coach,” Ranieri added.
De Rossi retired since the beginning of 2020. After retiring, De Rossi reportedly is likely to become a coach of the young Roma team. He would follow in his father’s footsteps at the Rome academy.
“I want to see myself on the bench in Rome, but I am not in a hurry to make it happen. If that happens, because I have been able to train not because previously important player AS Roma,” De Rossi said as quoted by Sky Sports.
