Daniele Rugani Feeling Positive after Being Affected by Covid-19

DBasia.news –  Juventus defender, Daniele Rugani, said he was not completely disappointed after being tested positive for Covid-19. Rugani believes there is a positive side that he felt after he was infected.

Daniele Rugani became the first player to be infected with the corona virus in Serie A. Afterwards, a number players were confirmed to have been exposed to the corona virus such as Manolo Gabbiadini.

Daniele Rugani’s condition is inseparable from the high numbers of corona virus victims in Italy. Italy occupies the top position for corona virus victims in Europe.

Even though positive for the corona virus, Daniele Rugani did not want to be down. Rugani feels grateful as he is able to increase the vigilance of the surrounding environment.

“I consider myself lucky even though it feels like a crushing blow. Because, I was the first person in our environment to increase the awareness of all those who do not understand the seriousness of this problem,” Rugani said as reported by Goal.

Daniele Rugani felt bored as he had to undergo a period of isolation. The former Empoli player had a plans once he’s recovered.

“I was alone in the hotel and stayed longer. This isolation period was long and boring for me and all of them. So once I recover, I would visit the people I love and miss,” he explained.

If Daniele Rugani is the first case in Serie A, different conditions occured in the Premier League. For the first case, the corona virus did not affect the players but the Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta. Afterwards, there were only a few other cases that hit players such as Chelsea’s Callum Hudson-Odoi.
