DBasia.news –  Through its official website, Liverpool have confirmed the permanent transfer of the 26-year-old striker Danny Ings to Southampton.

As is known, Ings was loaned by Liverpool to Southampton last season. The Saints then chose to make their transfer permanent. Liverpool allegedly will receive 18 million pounds, plus two additional pounds related to bonuses from his appearance.

“Liverpool FC can confirm Danny Ings, at this time, has completed the formalities for his permanent transfer to Southampton,” said an official statement from Liverpool.

“Everyone at Liverpool, once again, would like to thank Danny for his contribution to the club and wish him the best in his future career.”

Ings, who last season scored eight goals in a total of 24 games for Southampton, was pleased with that certainty. Now, the Bournemouth academy alumni can’t wait to play the 2019/20 season.

“It’s clear, I was here for a season, I personally felt the experiene of the ups and downs, with some minor problems and injuries. Now, I have signed a permanent contract, I feel great and can’t wait to play the new season,” Ings stated.
