David Beckham believes Lionel Messi has his Own Playing Level
By db-admin
DBasia.news – David Bekcham did not hesitate to say that Lionel Messi’s level is above Cristiano Ronaldo. Both of them, in the eyes of the Manchester United and Real Madrid legend, are the best figures in the world of football due to their individual and team achievements.
The debate over who is the best among them is endless, even though Ronaldo has left Real Madrid – after nine years in 2018 – and played at Juventus. While Messi is still with Barcelona.
Although La Pulga has won six Ballon d’Or and Ronaldo has won five, comparisons remain for both of them. Both Ronaldo and Messi has advantages and disadvantages.
Beckham also talked about it. The Inter Miami club owner thinks Messi cannot be compared to anyone, as the 32-year-old player has his own playing class which Ronaldo cannot even reach.
“Messi is alone in his class as a player, there can’t be a player like him,” Beckham told the Argentine news agency, Telam. “As a player there is no one like him.”
“He, like Ronaldo, did not reach his level, was above the others,” continued Beckham.
Nevertheless Beckham does not intend to play down Ronaldo, who is also a legend of Man United and the successor to the club’s number 7 jersey. Fans were originally fortunate to be able to watch their actions in prime condition for the past 10 years.
“They may have similarities in
technique and talent. It’s amazing for football to have them both playing at
the same time. But Messi is simply the best player in the world,” added
Beckham who played for United in the 1992-2003 period and also Real Madrid
(2003 -2007).
