David Luiz Praised Maurizio Sarri’s Football Philosophy

DBasia.news – Chelsea defender, David Luiz, praised Maurizio Sarri’s performance. The Brasilian defender assumed Sarri always helped the players to adapt his philosophy.

Maurizio Sarri came as Chelsea’s new manager replacing Antonio Cante. Though both of them coming from Italy, Sarri has a different strategy compared to his compatriot.

Sarri is known for his fast play emphasizing the wing sectors. Furthermore, the Empoli former coach won’t forget the role of the defensive line.

After some weeks under Sarri, David Luiz gave comment. The former player of Paris Saint-Germain admitted that he confirmed his decision to join Chelsea was right.

“I came back to Chelsea to stay. When I took my decision to come back here from Paris it was to win the Premier League and to do something again with Chelsea, so I am very happy here,” Luiz said reported by FourFourTwo.

“I love Sarri’s philosophy. We play high, with a lot of possession in a technical way. He’s trying to help us every single day to learn quickly his philosophy,” he insisted.

“You guys know me — I like to be happy, to enjoy my life. We have the best job in the world. (Sarri) came with this idea as a human being, so I think if you’re not happy to do your job it doesn’t matter if you’re a footballer or not. We have to be happy to do our best,” the curly player said.

Maurizio Sarri is known as one of Italy’s best coaches. Last season, Sarri brought Napoli to the runner-up as Serie A.
