DBasia.news –  Manchester United’s deputy leader, Ed Woodward, called the club is still in an effort to extend David de Gea’s contract, also Marcus Rashford.

De Gea is still under contract until June 2020 after the Red Devils side activated an extension clause for another year, while Rashford’s contract also ended in the same year.

If the second contract is extended, then they will follow in the footsteps of Phil Jones, Chris Smalling, Ashley Young, Anthony Martial and Scott McTominay who all have contract extensions this season.

“I don’t want to talk about that,” Woodward continued. The next announcement will be made when we appoint a new manager.”
