Dean Handerson Is Glad To Join Nottingham Forest

DBasia.news – Dean Handerson is glad to leave Manchester United as Dean Handerson rarely appears with Manchester United. Dean Handerson has now joined Nottingham Forest, with Dean Handerson hoping to do well with his new club.

Manchester United fans aren’t worried as the 25-year-old goalkeeper left on loan to Premier League-promoted club Nottingham Forest. Henderson will help Steve Cooper’s team survive in the Premier League.

The club change made Dean Henderson happy. He thanked Nottingham and the manager for wanting him to come. Henderson even praised the fans’ welcome for him.

“I’m absolutely delighted to be joining a fantastic club with such an incredible fan base and an incredible history,” Henderson said on Nottingham’s official website.

“I want to thank the manager and owner at Nottingham Forest for the great opportunity to play for this club in their first season in the Premier League. I’m really excited to work with everyone at the club from the manager, the players and the goalkeeping coach Danny Alcock.”

“Finally, a big thank you to the fans for the welcome I’ve received and I can’t wait to celebrate some brilliant moments together this coming season.”

Henderson became Nottingham’s second signing after Taiwo Awoniyi who came from Liverpool. The club broke a club record transfer fee of £17.5 million. Henderson left Man United as last season he was mostly reserved and had difficulty to replace David De Gea’s position.

On the other hand, according to James Robson, Man United’s correspondent for Goal, he thinks that Man United can lose by releasing Henderson. Because Henderson has the ability to build attacks from behind, something that David De Gea doesn’t have.

Luckily for Man United, Henderson’s departure was not permanent, but on loan so there was still a chance to become Man United’s main goalkeeper replacing De Gea. So who is Henderson’s current replacement at Man United?

Tom Heaton (36 years old) is now practically a substitute for Henderson and De Gea’s back-up as Lee Grant has retired. Another name is Nathan Bishop who is back from a loan spell at Mansfield Town. Another candidate that Man United targets is Watford goalkeeper, Daniel Bachmann.
