Dean Henderson is close to moving to Newcastle United

DBasia.news – Manchester United goalkeeper, Dean Henderson is reportedly getting closer to leaving Manchester United for Newcastle United, potentially being released by United on loan.

The 25-year-old goalkeeper hasn’t undergone the Premier League this season. His three appearances each came in the Champions League, FA Cup and League Cup.

Newcastle have been interested in Henderson since the January market. However, the move failed to occur as the main goalkeeper Martin Dubravka refused to be used as an exchange package.

Henderson returns to Old Trafford as of the 2020/21 season after a successful two-year loan spell at Sheffield United.

Last season, De Gea and Henderson shared the number one spot behind United’s bar. He appeared 26 times across the event last season.

But this season, Henderson had experienced Covid in pre-season and he was sentenced to suffer from “long Covid” until September. David De Gea started the season without competition.
