DBasia.news – Genoa coach, Thiago Motta feels that the defeat experienced by his team is still very burdensome. Genoa had to surrender from host Juventus with a score of 1-2 in the match which took place on Thursday (10/31) early morning Western Indonesian Time.
The match that took place at the Allianz Stadium was very exciting. Juventus succeeded in winning first through Leonardo Bonucci. Genoa then equalized through Christian Kouame’s goal.
However, one point that was in front of the eyes of the dispersed when the referee pointed to the white point for the host in injury time. The execution taken by Cristiano Ronaldo was also successful in ensuring Juve’s victory.
This penalty is a problem for Thiago Motta. He considers Juve players diving and referees do not deserve to give them a penalty.
“I will leave you to judge the incident. I will only say that the referee is very bad tonight. We know that players have given everything, we play like Genoa and that’s all we can do,” Motta said as quoted by Italian Football on Thursday (10/31/2019).
“I don’t understand why that can happen because we can achieve better results than this. Especially after playing with 10 people the players showed the right attitude on the field,” he added.
Furthermore, the coach who replaced Aurelio Di Laurenzo praised the performance of Andrea Pinamonti et al. “I praise the players because they showed outstanding performance against the greatest team in Italy,” he concluded.
