Defeated Sampdoria, Juventus Secured Italian League Scudetto Title

DBasia.news – Juventus finally secured the Italian League’s Scudetto Serie A season 2019-2020. The title was secured by Juventus after defeating Sampdoria 2-0 at the Allianz Stadium on week 36, Monday July 27th.

Juventus controlled the game from the start. Although Sampdoria also gave resistance, Juve’s defense guarded by Leonardo Bonucci and Matthijs de Ligt was still too strong.

Indeed, Juventus can add goals after getting a penalty two minutes before the match was over. The decision for a penalty was created after Alex Sandro violated Fabio Depaoli in the forbidden box. Unfortunately, the penalty executed by Ronaldo only hit the crossbar.

Until the long whistle, no goals were created. Thus, Juventus are seven points ahead of Inter Milan, who are ranked second with two matches remaining. Inevitably, Juve won the 2019-2020 Serie A trophy.
