DBasia.news – Borneo FC coach Dejan Antonic felt disappointed due to the 0-1 bitter loss against Persib Bandung on the 22nd week of 2018 Liga 1 at Batakan Stadium, Balikpapan, Monday (17/9).

Dejan got more disappointed because the team got conceded last minute at 82′ through Ghozali Siregar.

The situation was similar to the time when they got defeated by Persija Jakarta. In that match, Borneo FC got conceded in the additional time by Novri Setiawan, resulted in a 0-1 score.

“Persib did the long pass. If our player jumped, Ghozali won’t be able to enter and to score the goal. Everyone is disappointed. This is a hard work. We got defeated by Persija, and also now,” Dejan said after the match.

The Serbian coach admitted that he doesn’t know the players’ situation. During the preparation, they fix all the mistakes.

“It’s okay, we have to learn from this defeat. We have to see from these two big teams. This is our lesson. Borneo have to learn from this to improve,” he said.

However, Dejan can’t set the target to the highest rank of the temporary standing.

“I have to see how to strengthen the squad. If the expectation is too high, it will be a burden for them. We have to enjoy it so the kids can play like they used to do and gained the point,” he concluded.

By this loss, Borneo FC stay in the 10th rank with 29 points from 22 matches. While Persib lead the standing with 41 points.
