DBasia.news – Diego Maradona also concerns about Kalidou Koulibaly’s status who got racist abuse. Maradona as Napoli legend asked Naples people to support Koulibaly.

Kalidou Koulibaly got a racist abuse when Napoli visited Inter Milan at Giuseppe Meazza. In the match on Wednesday (26/12), he was humiliated.

Inter Milan fans at the stadium sang the racisst chant. Koulibaly was the target.

After that, Kalidou Koulibaly got the supports. Napoli fans wore Koulibaly masks in support when they won 3-2 against Bologna. Europe top players also sent their support for him, including Juventus megastar Cristiano Ronaldo and Inter Milan captain Mauro Icardo.

Lately, Napoli legend Diego Maradona also sent his support for Koulibaly. Maradona admits that he got a racist abuse in Italy.

“I played for seven years in Napoli, and I also suffered the racist songs of some fans. I still remember the flags that said ‘Welcome to Italy’.” Diego Maradona wrote in his social media account.

“I feel Neapolitan and today I want to be with Kalidou Koulibaly. I hope that all this helps to ends racism in football once and for all,” Diego Maradona continued.

Due to that incident, Inter Milan got punished by FIGC. La Beneamata fans are suspended coming to Giuseppe Meazza in two home matches after Napoli match.
