DBasia.news – Atletico Madrid are reportedly looking to bring in big-name players next summer and one of the targets of coach Diego Simeone is Inter Milan striker, Lautaro Martinez.
Atletico Madrid reportedly want to bring in big players to strengthen the depth of their squad in various positions including the attack line.
Darwin Nunez from Benfica is said to have a lot of interest at the Wanda Metropolitano but it is Lautaro Martinez from Inter Milan who received Diego Simeone’s full and thorough attention.
The news is as reported by Mundo Deportivo which claims that the Argentine coach wants to bring his compatriot at the end of this season.
Paulo Dybala is reportedly set to leave Juventus and move to Inter on a free transfer in the summer and if that happens it will further pave the way for Los Rojiblancos to sign Lautaro.
However, the value of the 24-year-old striker is high. Reports from Italy claim that it costs at least €70 million to purchase the striker and Atletico are not the only ones interested in his services. Several Premier League clubs are also interested in signing him.
In addition there are factors that complicate his move to the Metropolitano as the player wants to stay at Milan, even though the club’s financial condition makes his sale necessary although not what he wants.
Atleti themselves will be left by their mainstay striker, Luis Suarez after his contract expires next summer, so they need to bring in new players.
