Dietmar Hopp Ready to Forget Ultras’ Insult with One Condition

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  Dietmar Hopp, owner of TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, claimed to be ready to end the dispute with the ultras of German football clubs. He will forget all the insults and attacks from them. However, that will only happen on one condition.

The absolute requirement that Dietmar Hopp has asked is for the ultras to stop all the insults. “I want to forget all this if it stops right now,” he told ZDF as quoted by Sport1.

Furthermore, Hopp, who will celebrate his 80th birthday on April 26, expressed his surprise. Until now, he could not understand the basis of the Ultras’ insults against him.

“Making my face a symbol of commercialization (football) is completely incomprehensible. Strangely, the agitation was so perfect that the ultras from many clubs participated, “explained Dietmar Hopp.

Over the years, Hopp has been a figure hated by fanatic supporters of German clubs. He is considered as a symbol who destroyed the German football tradition as he had full power over TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. Later, after DFB sanctioned the ultras Borussia Dortmund, the ultras of other clubs took part in insulting him.

For Dietmar Hopp, it was very tiring. He also emphasized that his involvement in football was not based on economic motives. He built Hoffenheim solely because of love.

“I would be glad if those who had insulted me for no reason for 13 years stopped. I want to tell them my story with TSG which has been going on for 66 years, “explained Dietmar Hopp.
