Disappointing TFC fifth league
By news-admin
DBasia.news – PERSATUAN Former Terengganu Football Player was disappointed with Terengganu FC’s (TFC) squad who failed to settle in the top three Super League squad this season after finishing fifth.
PBPBT president Mat Sedek Wahab said Irfan Bakti Abu Salim’s squad’s chance to be second in the league behind Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) is open because the difference is not so far.
“But the failure of the squad to defeat the Selangor squad in the last league last night proved to be a disadvantage for the team and the worse the Penyu squad could only finish in fifth place league.
“As a former Terengganu player, we are disappointed with the result, but we do not blame 100 percent on the players and the coaches should be responsible for not achieving the key performance targets targeted,” said Mat Sedek.
In the final action of the Red Giants squad, the TFC who needed a victory regardless of the amount of the network should blame himself when losing 0-2 at the Kuala Lumpur Football Stadium in Cheras.
The 90’s Terengganu defender, however, hoped the squad, Peteh Terengganu Peteh, would be able to rise in the Malaysia Cup as it will be the last chance for the squad to win at least one trophy this season.
“Hence we hope players will be determined to play a more solid streak to win, especially tough competition in the Malaysian Cup will be more difficult.”
