Do not disband Perlis!

By news-admin

DBasia.news – It is now time for the Perlis Football Association (PFA) to stand on its own feet without expecting any help or political individual funds to remain in the Malaysian League next season.

Perlis football legend, Yusri Che Lah, when contacted, said the dependence of the PFA administration on political funds in forming the previous team was a factor that PFA could not afford to win in the league after the absence of political individuals who wanted to sponsor them.

He acknowledged the disappointment and sadness if the squad given the title North Lion was disbanded as it was the first team to help him make a name in the football arena.

“It would be unfortunate if the Perlis team were disbanded but on a professional basis, we must identify the main cause of why the former team had lost its fingernails.

“The PFA administration needs to be independent and can not make the grounds that current political change determines the strength and performance of the state football team,” said the Kelantan team head coach.

According to Yusri, the PFA needs to take samples from other state troops such as the Kelantan team who have been playing long league without any help or funding from the state government.

“Kelantan is a former team not getting help from the state government, but the KAFA administration (Kelantan Football Association) has proven that football does not require politics to stand.

“Today the PFA administration must admit that their failure today stems from their own in managing the team’s governance.

“They (PFA administration) have to prove that they can stand on their own feet despite the fund’s restraint now plaguing the association also pity the Perlis people who are desperate for a win at the Tuanku Syed Putra Kangar Stadium,” he said.

He added that PFA management needs to change and not make PFA a stepping stone to create a name through the association which indirectly targets football development in Perlis.
