Donnarumma is Honored He Can Play With Balotelli

DBasia.news –  Alfredo Donnarumma was proud of Brescia’s performance against Juventus despite losing 1-2 because of an own goal by a Brescia player and said it was an honor to partner with Mario Balotelli.

The 28-year-old striker impressed on his Serie A debut when he forced Juventus goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny to pick up the ball from inside his net when the match had only been running for four minutes.

“It’s not easy to defend against a team like this for 90 minutes. They can score against you with any goal or at any moment,” Donnarumma said.

“We played well, kept the match open until the last minute and had to be proud of what we did. We are on the right track if we continue to play like this.”

This is the first match for Balotelli, who has completed a four-match ban and was deployed as a starter to accompany Donnarumma and Romulo.

“We work hard on tactical aspects, Mario is accustomed to different movements, so we communicate a lot when we move without the ball.”

“Playing with him is an honor for me and I’m sure we are getting stronger as partners in the future.”
