Donny van de Beek Staying at Ajax Amsterdam

DBasia.news –  Donny van de Beek shows his commitment to Ajax Amsterdam. He will stay and not leave for Real Madrid in January 2020 (winter transfer market).

The 22-year-old has long been linked to leaving Ajax following two former team-mates, Matthijs de Ligt and Frenkie de Jong. However, Van de Beek showed his loyalty to Erik ten Hag’s team.

“I do not want to go in the winter break (winter transfer market, January 2020),” said Van de Beek, as reported by the AS.

Van de Beek, who is a product of the Ajax academy, did not rule out leaving the club in the future. But for now, his heart and commitment to Ajax Amsterdam.

“I played here all season, I finished it with Ajax this season. It just gives clarity and calm. I will see again what happens next,” added Van de Beek.

“Maybe, one day in my career will happen, I changed clubs during the winter (transfer market), but now I don’t,” added the player born in Nijkerkerveen, April 18, 1997.

This season, Van de Beek has scored three goals in all competitions and provided four assists in the Eredivisie. Madrid needs a new midfielder to replace Luka Modric and Toni Kroos who have started aging.
