Don’t Make Fun of Marco Rose When Borussia Dortmund Visit Gladbach

DBasia.news – Gladbach winger Jonas Hoffman says Borussia Dortmund coach Marco Rose does not deserve ridicule when he returns to Borussia-Park on Saturday (25/9).

Marco Rose will return to Borussia Monchengladbach when the two teams meet on Saturday (25/9). It will be Rose’s first return after leaving for BVB in the summer.

It is believed that Rose’s arrival will receive a cold welcome from Gladbach supporters who will watch the match live at Borussia-Park this weekend.

However, according to Gladbach winger Jonas Hoffman, Rose does not deserve a cold reception, because after all, Rose is a great figure who has helped them write history.

“I don’t think Marco Rose deserves to be ridiculed (when he returns to Gladbach for Saturday’s match, 25/9),” Hoffman said in a recent interview with BILD.

“He is a great person and has already written club history with Gladbach, reaching the knockout stages of the Champions League for the first time.”

Rose joined Gladbach in 2019 from RB Salzburg, and spent two seasons coaching them. Last season Rose managed to lead Gladbach through to the knockout stages of the Champions League for the first time in their history.

And it was because of that huge influence that Dortmund finally had to pay a release clause of 5 million euros before being able to sign Rose in the summer.

With Dortmund, Rose has also been impressive, and so far have won 6 of their first 8 matches this season.
