Dortmund is Ready to Release Jadon Sancho at 100 Million Euros

DBasia.news – Borussia Dortmund seems to have been willing to let Jadon Sancho go this summer. However, interested clubs must be able to pay 100 million euros (IDR 1.7 trillion).

Sancho’s future has been speculated since last season. It was Manchester United who were interested in signing him in the summer but Dortmund never paid attention.

As MU’s offer is still far from the 120 million euros demanded by Dortmund. Sancho continued at Dortmund, but had an impact on his performances in the first half of the season.

Sancho had difficulty making goals or assists due to injury. However, as soon as the second half of the season started, Sancho immediately stepped on the pedal which has made him score 12 goals and 18 assists in 34 matches in all competitions.

In fact Dortmund benefited when Sancho was able to return to his best performance. However, the management doesn’t seem to want Sancho’s transfer saga to happen again.

Therefore, Dortmund began to soften regarding the continuation of Sancho’s career there. As quoted by ESPN, Dortmund has lowered Sancho’s selling price, from 120 million euros to 100 million euros, or around Rp 1.7 trillion.

Reportedly the 100 million euros price includes bonuses if Sancho leaves. In fact, Sancho’s price alone is now in the 80-90 million euro range.

“There are several conditions that must be met if Jadon wants to leave. From yesterday until now, the timing and value of the transfer will be very decisive,” Dortmund Sports Director Michael Zorc told ARD TV.

“We did have an agreement with Sancho last year,” he continued.

Dortmund’s decision to release Sancho could be related to Erling Haaland staying at the club next season. So, who dares to sign Jadon Sancho?
