Dortmund Ready with Manchester United’s Tug-of-War Game for Jadon Sancho

DBasia.news – Borussia Dortmund winger, Jadon Sancho has a big appeal in the player transfer market. Top European clubs are observing him and among them, Manchester United reportedly has a high interest in recruiting him.

Man United as coached by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to bring Sancho back to England after going abroad in 2017. The 20-year-old player was a product of the Manchester City academy who chose to leave to obtain playing hours at another club.

Dortmund purchased him for eight million pounds three years ago and now Sancho’s value has gone up significantly. Sancho played regularly at Dortmund, becoming one of Europe’s top talents until he was called in by Gareth Southgate to the England national team.

Die Borussen did not object in selling their flagship player as long as there were those who could afford the official tag of 100 million pounds set for Sancho. To obtain that value, Dortmund is ready to ‘play’ endurance fight with interested clubs.

According to The Telegraph, Dortmund did not object in waiting for everything to be stable again in the player transfer market, both in terms of player’s market value to salary. The reason is currently the two things are predicted to decrease dramatically by up to 50 percent more due to the corona virus.

Dortmund does not want to sell Sancho under 50 million pounds. No doubt they are ready to pull off Sancho’s transfer with interested clubs – including Manchester United. Moreover, they do not have demands to sell players due to the relative financial security.

Sancho still has the remaining two-season contract with Dortmund. Reportedly at the beginning of this season he had agreed to a new contract offer and a salary increase of up to 190,000 pounds per week. But there has been no further confirmation from the news.
