DBasia.news – Bayern Munich chief executive, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, said every problem of Mesut Ozil isn’t related to racism. Rummenigge assumed the statement from agent Dr. Erkut Sokut, triggered the problem.
Mesut Ozil was trending after decided to retire from Germany national team. The Arsenal key player felt as the scapegoat after Germany’s failure in the group phase of 2018 World Cup.
After the announcement, Ozil attacked the media, sponsor, and Deutscher Fußball-Bund e.V. (DFB). According to Ozil, these three gave him racism accusations. Moreover, Ozil met with Turkey president Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who is related to human right violation issues.
However, a different response given by Rummenigge, the FC Hollywood high official believed Dr. Erkut Sokut as the trigger.
“He has not been criticised because he is of Turkish descent. This is a fable told by his advisors. That’s getting on my nerves anyway,” Rummenigge claimed in an interview with SPORT BILD.
“The consultants give more and more statements and interviews these days. This is partly like a fairytale lesson.”
Previously, Erkut Sokut also had a problem with Bayern Munchen after mentioning Uli Hoeness made a stupid comment about Mesut Ozil’s retirement.
