Eden Hazard Not Included in the Belgian National Team

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  Real Madrid wing striker, Eden Hazard, is unable to defend the Belgian national team during the 2020 European Cup Qualifiers. Hazard is currently injured.

Real Madrid and the Belgian national team were involved in a conflict over Eden Hazard’s condition. The Red Devils wanted to bring in the player to follow the 2020 European Cup qualifiers. On the other hand, Madrid assess that Hazard’s condition has not recovered 100 percent.

In the end, Eden Hazard still left for the Belgium national team training camp. However, in the middle of the trip, the Belgian national team decided to send Hazard back to Madrid as he had not recovered fully.

The 28-year player had suffered an injury at the start of the 2019-2020 season. From the results of the medical team’s examination, Hazard had suffered a hamstring injury.

Aside from Eden Hazard, the Belgian national team also sent Thorgan Hazard home, who was none other than the star’s brother. The two players were unable to appear when Belgium met San Marino (7/9) and Scotland (10/9).

“Eden Hazard and Thorgen Hazard have left the team. They suffered injuries and could not appear against San Marino and Scotland,” the Belgian national team wrote in an official statement.

The return of Eden Hazard was welcomed by Real Madrid. Understandably, El Real hopes that Hazard can return to 100 percent physical condition. Reportedly, the recovery of Hazard’s injury will be completed after the international break.

Aside from Eden Hazard, Real Madrid have also lost a number of players to injuries. Marco Asensio, Brahim Diaz, Rodrygo Goes and Ferland Mendy are still in the recovery stage.

Real Madrid will host Levante in the 2019-2020 LaLiga match, at the Santiago Bernabeu, Saturday (9/14). Next, Gareth Bale and his mates will travel to the headquarters of Paris Saint-Germain in Matchday 1 of Group A Champions League 2019-2020.
