DBasia.news –  It is no longer a secret if Real Madrid really want Eden Hazard, the Chelsea wing striker. The problem is, the new Hazard will come to Madrid if Bale leaves.

Madrid officials were faced with a difficult situation regarding the 29-year-old player because he did not want to go from Madrid. Both Bale and his agent, Jonathan Barnett, insisted on staying with the club that had been strengthened from 2013.

The determination of Bale made Madrid’s board of directors dizzy because the club wanted to sell it and provide a place for Hazard. Not just messing around because Bale insisted on defending, the Welsh player was reportedly also no longer in demand of European clubs.

Madrid are considering selling Bale because the player’s career is believed to have ended at the Santiago Bernabeu. Apart from being prone to injury, Bale was also an inconsistent player and did not have good relations with fans and teammates.

Especially with the rules of FFP (Financial Fair Play) that UEFA is promoting to European clubs. Madrid can no longer buy star players without selling several players in the current squad.

Zinedine Zidane, coach of Madrid, responded to rumors of the transfer calmly. Not directly mentioning the players who will go or come, Zidane only confirms that his team will bring in players by selling several players.

“No (Bale goes so Hazard can go to Madrid.) But we have 25 players, so if you buy players, some players might leave. That’s normal in the squad. There will be changes, but it happens throughout the team.” Zidane said, quoted from ESPN.

One of the positions that will change is the goalkeeper. If Andriy Lunin added that he would return from his loan period at Leganes, then Madrid would later have four goalkeepers. The other three goalkeepers are Thibaut Courtois, Keylor Navas, and Luca Zidane.

“(In summer) everything can happen. I will not tell you what I want. Sometimes, I want things but that doesn’t happen, just the opposite. All goalkeepers have contracts. This is not the time to talk about that, but next season everything will be clear,” concluded Zidane.

Real Madrid have recruited Brazilian centre-back Eder Militao from FC Porto for 50 million euros. In addition to targeting Hazard, Los Blancos also targets Paul Pogba (Manchester United), Christian Eriksen (Tottenham Hotspur), and Luka Jovic (Eintracht Frankfurt).
