DBasia.news – Not only did AS Roma achieve victory against Istanbul Basaksehir in the Europa League group’s first match at the Stadio Olimpico, Edin Dzeko also scored 90 goals and approached a 100 record goals for Roma.
Dzeko scored in the middle of the second half to double Roma’s lead on the way to a 4-0 victory, on the night where he also captained the team.
Dzeko has now scored 90 goals in 183 appearances for the Giallorossi since joining in the summer of 2015.
He currently sits in seventh place in the club’s all-time top scorer list.
