Edin Dzeko Upset AS Roma Demolished by Sassuolo
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Sassuolo won a landslide victory in a six-goal drama with a 6-2 win over AS Roma. Edin Dzeko was upset with the defeat.
Edin Dzeko is the most disappointed player for this defeat. In fact, according to him, AS Roma does not play at the level of Serie A at Mapei Stadium.
“The problem with pressing games is that what is needed when one person is late and everything gets messy. In the first round, to be honest, we didn’t play at Serie A level,” Dzeko told Sky Sport Italia on Sunday (2/2/2020).
“I think this is a very interesting style of football, we always want to keep the ball, but if two or three players are not at the top level it can cause problems,” he added.
The Bosnian player’s frustration is further compounded by a lack of ball supply from the second line on him. This is also what he thinks is the cause of the shameful defeat.
“I keep telling the players and telling others to give me the ball. But I don’t get many services from others,” he said.
“Nobody is at a normal level today, especially in the first round. We hope to forget this game because we lost three points and next week we have been waiting for Bologna,” closed Edin Dzeko.
