Edwin van der Sar Still Like Being the CEO of Ajax Amsterdam

DBasia.news –  Regarding the issue of his visit to Manchester United as Technical Director, Edwin van der Sar claimed he was still likes being in Ajax Amsterdam and becoming the CEO.

Manchester United has reportedly began trying to mend their management side. As the Red Devils are only great at selling, but not directly proportional to the achievements on the field.

Last season, Manchester United failed to reach their target of qualifying for the Champions League. Meanwhile, this season, Paul Pogba and mates only collected one victory.

One of the reasons for this is the absence of a person in charge of Manchester United’s transfer. The Red Devils mistakenly brought in players at exorbitant prices, but does not provide a positive impact on the field.

Some time ago, issues arose that Van der Sar was the person who was being offered the position of technical director of Manchester United. Later, all Man United’s movements in the transfer market will be under the supervision of the 48-year-old man.

“I enjoyed the time at Ajax Amsterdam. I received a different role, that is the chief executive,” Van der Sar answered as reported by FourFourTwo.

“I really hope to bring Ajax Amsterdam to the top level of Europe – which we may have achieved last season. We need to make sure we can get the best chance of staying there,” explained Van der Sar.

Edwin van der Sar headed to Manchester United from Fulham in July 2005. The Red Devils became the last club he defended after retiring in July 2011. During this time, Van der Sar has won a number of titles such as the Premier League, the English League Cup and the Champions League.
