DBasia.news –  Chelsea coach, Frank Lampard, is trying to forget the 1-2 defeat in the Carabao Cup from Manchester United by insisting that the club is more focused on other competitions.

The Blues were eliminated from the tournament at Stamford Bridge by the Red Devils in the top 16 round, ending their seven-game winning streak.

When asked whether the defeat was a major blow to Chelsea and Lampard, the Englishman actually praised his team’s recent appearance and explained that his squad had now shifted focus to the next match.

“We have won seven times in a row,” Lampard stated.

“We are playing well in the Champions League. We want to go to the next stage.”

“Our performance in the league has been great. That is our priority. However, we want to win the game and give everything.”
