DBasia.news – Despite owning Davide Zappacosta and Cesar Azpilicueta, Chelsea are still eyeing another player as the right-back. Chelsea will try to recruit him during the winter transfer market on January.
Football-Italia reported Chelsea are targeting Napoli right-back from Albania, Elseid Hysaj. The 24-year-old player really knows Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri well, after their collaborations in Empoli and Napoli.
Hysaj’s agent, Mario Giuffredi, also confirmed the offer from Chelsea. Moreover, the situation in Napoli allowed him to leave. Napoli coach, Carlo Ancelotti, prefers Kevin Malcuit as the right-back compared to Hysaj hence the delayed contract renewal.

“Hysaj being targeted by Chelsea and other clubs? If you see that Ancelotti is playing (Kevin) Malcuit and you feel that Napoli is looking for other players, obviously it means that there are also requests for him.
“Hysaj is a player who can do well in English football since he has a lot of physicalities and he is being targeted by many big clubs. Is his worth 50 million? For me, he is worth 60,” he continued.
If Chelsea really recruit the player who was born in Maesi e Madhe, February 2nd, 1994, in the winter transfer market on January, it’s possible that they will sell Zappacosta or Moses to give Hysaj space to compete with Azpilicueta.
