Emre Can’s Response for not entering Juventus’ Champions League squad

DBasia.news –  Emre Can responds to the announcement of the Juventus Champions League squad. His name was not included and Can claimed he was not angry. He just tried to focus on showing the best performance with the club.

Juventus have announced a list of players who will be appearing in the Champions League. Famous names such as Matthijs de Ligt, Paulo Dybala, Gonzalo Higuain, and Cristiano Ronaldo are seen on the list.

However, in that release, there is no name Emre Can. The German midfielder was not chosen by Maurizio Sarri.

The Italian coach prefers new faces like Aaron Ramsey and Adrien Rabiot. Not surprisingly, speculation arose if Emre Can was angry over the decision.

However, the former Liverpool denied the news circulating. Emre Can stressed that he was relieved to accept Maurizio Sarri’s choice. Emre Can felt that Juventus had given their best.

“I will always be grateful to Juventus. They support and protect me since becoming part of this team. Especially, when I was injured,” explained Emre Can on Twitter.

Juventus will occupy Group D with Atletico Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen, and Lokomotiv Moscow. When looking at the composition of the squad, La Vecchia Signora was seeded to represent Group D in the preliminary round.

“Out of respect for Juventus and their teammates, their success will always be a priority for me. I will not say anything else and will fight on the pitch,” he continued.

Emre Can is indeed the second choice in the Juventus midfielder sector. Moving to Turin since July 2018, the 25-year-old has just played in 38 matches. Of that amount, he packed four goals and one assist.
